loving school (and taking it back 20+ years)
i'll begin by saying that I am having a great time on my way to becoming a certified holistic health counselor.
as with everything in the universe, there has to be a balance.
so....here we go. sometimes, i feel like we're in elementary school. it moreso related to whiners at the school. it's usually over some petty stuff. the short-ish version of it is: in addition to the regular program that everyone enrolled in, the school has a program with extra classes. These extra classes are for people who want more assistance and guidance in building and maintaining a business. The extra classes are not free, the students who choose to participate actually pay an additional grip to be a part of the extra program. So my question to some of the students who are complaining, is:
why complain about the extra materials and guidance given to the students in the extra program, when they um...paid for it?
There are SO many other things to focus on at the school. I do have the option of not reading those threads within our online forum. So instead of telling people they kinda sound childish and petty, I post to my blog. One, b/c it's my blog. Two, people have the right to say what they feel like saying...even if it's whiny :D
Anyway, I like my school and I am glad that I decided to attend AND join the extra program. So, if you made it this far, check out my site!

I know exactly what you mean about the complaining. I take classes at night and on the weekend and I am so grateful to be able to go back. I can't understand why people get so crabby about it. my feelings exactly: if you don't like it you don't have to go!
I would love to study holistic medicine. I live in NH and we have a lot of herbalists here. I always wish they would regulate it somehow so maybe insurances would cover it, etc. but that is a whole long subject!!
Good luck and enjoy!!
